ROAMING DOG: EVERYONE'S BEST FRIEND
As best friends go, a good dog is tough to beat — like Blue, mascot of Roaming Dog Wines and official squirrel chaser of the vineyard. Seems like just the other day a couple of the field hands spied this scruffy old hound traipsing among the vines, with his tail on high-wag and an expression that said, “I’m home.” And indeed, he’s had the run of the place ever since. So when we needed a name for our wine, Roaming Dog just seemed to fit. Like Blue, Roaming Dog Wines are the perfect companion, whether it’s a weekend brunch, your next tailgater, or simply chilling after a long day. READ ON
ROAMING DOG WINES
Our 2018 Roaming Dog Cabernet Sauvignon is a crowd-pleaser. With deep fruit and a toasty finish, it’s delicious beside a good burger, slow-cooked pot roast, or carnitas soft tacos. This Cab doesn’t take itself too seriously. Enjoy a glass whether you’re cooking up a feast or sitting down to savor one.
2018 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
You just might consider making this round, ripe 2019 Roaming Dog Chardonnay your best friend. With the taste of apples and pear, it delivers the scrumptiousness you’d hope for in a Chard without being too sweet. From the acclaimed Columbia Valley, it’s perfect on its own or with food. Want a Chardonnay that over-delivers on taste and value? Toast!
CABERNET SAUVIGNON ROSÉ
If you immediately think of Rosé when you think of summer, then you’ll want to try our 2019 Roaming Dog Rosé — Double Gold winner at the 2020 Cascadia Wine Competition. Crisp and light, with the fresh scent of strawberry, it’s sunshine in a glass. It’s bound to brighten your day or evening, any time of year.
2019 CABERNET SAUVIGNON ROSÉ
The 2018 Roaming Dog Red Blend is a delightful mix of berry and spice and everything nice. This round, fruity Columbia Valley Red Blend is the perfect sidekick for your next happy hour, backyard barbecue, or game night.
2018 RED BLEND
If you’ve never tried a Riesling (or even if you have), try our new 2020 Roaming Dog Riesling. With a new label, we might add. Not unlike Blue, this wine is naturally sweet, yet full of energy. Bright, juicy citrus follows the first tempting aromas of pear, jasmine and honey. It’s a classic example of a Columbia Valley Riesling and incredibly versatile.
